Doctoral candidates
The BfR offers you the opportunity of doing a PhD at the Institute while specifically promoting the advancement of your knowledge and skills through the postgraduate study programme (PDF-Datei, 86,15 KB).
The programme offers all doctoral candidates at the Institute a binding supervision agreement along with a structured basic and advanced training programme for the expansion of competence and promotion of networking. Within the scope of the obligatory events, the postgraduates expand their presentation techniques among other things, present the progress of their PhD project every year and receive training in good scientific practice. In addition to this, doctoral candidates can choose in the elective subject area from a wide range of further training options at the BfR and at universities in line with their interests and specialisation in order to advance their knowledge specifically. On top of all of this, the BfR places great value on the formation of communication networks among all doctoral candidates and promotes cross-organisational exchange.
