Proportionality principle revisited-relationship between application ratesand pesticide residue concentrationsin food commodities

The proportionality principle has been broadly used for over 10 years in regulatory assessments of pesticide residues. This work revisits that principle idea. Four different statistical methods were used to investigate the relationship between application rates and residue concentrations. The authors draw conclusions on the statistical significance of the direct proportionality assumed.

The article was published in the journal "Pest Management Science".
