2nd Joint Symposium on Nanotechnology
(2017.04.06 - 2017.04.07)
The integration of nanomaterials along the entire value chain creates new challenges and requires new approaches in terms of design, testability, reliability, and safety. Within the scope of this two-day event, the status of nanomaterials in research, application and regulation will be presented. The toxicology of inhaled nanomaterials will be one of the focal topics. New developments and issues of sustainability and resource efficiency of nanotechnology will be addressed, including some emerging nanomaterials. For a limited number of participants there will be a possibility to get insight into ongoing nanomaterial inhalation experiments at the nearby Fraunhofer ITEM facilities. This second joint symposium on nanotechnology on 6th and 7th April 2017 is organised by the German German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) together with the Fraunhofer "Nanotechnology Alliance". Here, you find the programme of the event which will take place at Hannover Medical School in Hannover (Germany).
