BfR doctoral training programme

The BfR offers doctoral candidates the opportunity to conduct research on current and applied topics with the support of state-of-the-art technical equipment. The further and advanced training programme within the BfR doctoral training programme promotes the development of a specific and generic profile of doctoral candidates at the BfR. The programme has a modular structure which allows flexible organisation and individualised prioritisation. The flyer on the BfR doctoral training programme provides information on the organisation and structure of the modules.

The dissertation project itself is registered at a university with the nomination of a university supervisor at the respective faculty. In addition to this, the doctoral candidates sign a supervisory agreement with the supervisors at the BfR covering the rights and obligations of those involved. The doctoral regulations of each university have priority.
